Puppy Pic

Beautiful pups. I still remember the day we were selected by our Siberian Husky, Stormy. She is now 13, and is still the best dog I ever had.
You will have many happy years ahead of you.

Oh Geeeeeez....why do you have to post pics like this Carl? It just makes me want to go out and get ANOTHER pup! Have fun with your new companion...

Carl,
if you have a choice still, get the New Skeet Monks book and read it before you go this weekend.
You can tell a lot about the pups personality in the 6 to 7 week time and you can help ease the training job by picking a pup that suits your requirements as an owner. IE not home all day and only able to train in the evenings and mornings.
There is not a fix for that but a clam easy going secure dog will make that easier.

A dominant dog may be a bit more of a challenge in that situation.

They are very cute!

I second what was said about the Monks of New Skete.
Those pups sure are cute, nothing better than puppy breath. Enjoy it while it lasts.

Bob,

Havent gotten the book yet but I have been thinking about the personality issue. And I have read a few articles as well.
I definately dont want the most dominant pup in the litter, nor the most timid. Looking for the one that is cautiously curious, playful but not out of control. Hopefully, the right one will pick us!

Yeah, I know.
I actually wanted a yellow lab.
But the mom has the build and personality that I want, so I can live with the chocolate fur.
.

Oh yeah, I know!

But I really was set on a yellow lab until I met our pup's mom.

My 4month old sitting in my new Marshrat recieved yesterday. They grow so fast!!! It doesn't matter what color as long as it is a duck dog!!! (Lab,Chessie or Golden) Good luck and enjoy!!!!!!!

Thanks for posting the pic Carl. It will be great fun picking the pup and the weeks will fly by. Good luck with the training and make sure you post pics as he or she grows for all to see.
