I know Ohio is purged of all Yamaha's which would be my 1st choice, but open to any brand... does anyone know of a dealer with stock? Any leads appreciated. Looking for new, warrenteed from the factory motor. Thanks, Dave

I'll make some calls as well. My friend who is a marine mechanic has been in Naples for the winter. I'll see if there is anything down there and have him bring it up in a week or so when he comes back for the summer
 
have a dealer in pa. who has a 15 short shaft tiller $2600.00 plus tax i think he's a little strong on the price but it's the last one he has let me know if i can help
 
Guys, I am waiting on a confirmation call, but think I have located one. New 15MSH - Yamaha, 2 stroke, short shaft, tiller, manual. This community here on DBHP is certainly unique. Mike Braden made calls for me local to him, and then way out of state where he has another friend that he knew he could call on to drive an hour or so to pick one up for me if needed! I will gladly pay the shipping to get it, but is that amazing? I have several other leads out there, afraid I will be guarded until I get the confirmation, and know this one is on its way before I share what I have found in case others are in the market.

Interesting, the reason that there are still some Yamaha motors in the loop, is because when they went to the 100:1 mix, them met some middle ground on the EPA requirements. The other mfgs either could not go 100:1 or decided not to. Then when the next milestone was approaching Yamah built extra 2 strokes before the deadline.

Good marketing plan!
 
I had heard from the dealer I bought my new 25hp 2 stroke that Dec 2009 was the last point in time that Yamaha 2 strokes were brought into the Country.
