Question about metal hook for put decoys on a sling

Hello, My brother buy the CD Sea Duck Hunting Adventures Vol 1 ...

On the 3th hunt, with the duckboat, when the man place the decoy on the line , he use a hook , it look like only snape the cord , look easy to roll the line in a spool for electric cord

the 2ft cord with the hook stay with the decoy ...

Do you have a link, a image to see what it that hook like, where i can but that ...

This is what I use Stef. They are called long line clips. The Stainless Steel ones are pricey, so I use galvanized ones now. They are about $2.00 each out west here. You can get them on different sizes and with or without swivels.

Easier to use on cold days
a 24-28" dropper off the decoyis perfect if you ever want to use a retreiving dog in the long line set
