Real names

I have got to say the the real name rule in this forum is absolutely the only way to go. All forums and internet sites should have that requirement.

How easy is it to snipe and attack at someone using a fake screen name? It happens every where, but not here. I went into the local newspaper to ask that they use the same policy on their on-line paper. They allow users to post comments to stories using fake names. But they require real names and addresses for the print copy. It doesn't make sense. It also allowed their on-line copy to be full of slander and name calling.

You guys keep up the great work on the BEST forum on the net!

I totally agree with this sentiment. I re-registered for a forum I used to participate on before I had kids and grad work to do and the forum asked for a "handle". I didn't understand why you wouldn't just use your real name. Love that this forum requires real names, part of what makes it great!

I could not disagree more... but I am here anyway.

Hell ... Phil Nowack isn't even my real name... I made it up so I could play here...

Hey Tod,

The new job is awesome! So much fun and the students are really fired up. The DNR is really helpful, just the DEEP in CT and the students are getting to know them so hopefully a few will get a job when they finish up.

The fishing has sucked in general compared to when I was here 14 years ago, but the grouse, woodcock, and duck seasons are open so life is pretty good. A bit chilly here already with snowflakes last night as I get ready for opener today!

Hey Hiller,
You were expecting coastal conditions in minne-cold as hell-sota? Lucky you all have trees to break the canadian winds out that way, fella. At least you are not in Fargo, or Minot, which appear to have a dearth of forestation!!!
Glad to hear the new job is going fine and the family is adjusting to the new conditions--Hopefully, you will take off some time in march and get down to the deke show at what was westlake, ohio-Might just be good seeing you again, fella--Now 174, which was my goal weight--Am as svelte as i was back in 1966. Finishing up putting a hollow paulonia sprig together today--Gotta sand, seal and start painting manana! Looking for some new digs to gun after 25 years on the same place..Least we could have been told the truth, which seems rather difficult these days. Ah well, there is always argentina, wuebec, and hopefully, a few trips with ski, along with getting into the groove with pushpole and jonboat again. Guess there some things one keeps in one's memory, eh?
Hi to the boss and castor and pollux.

Hey, Bill Sands is just a short hop from you in the western part of N D kinda north of Bismark, from what i recall.
