Rebuilding Skeeter Hustler

Neat project, I always liked those boats. Hunted out of one in 2001 or 2002 that former member RodJ had out in Houston, TX.

Mike i got one but the dam thing is so heavy . Do you think a 16 hp mud motor would work . It has a nice flat bottom but the keels got me thinking no

A guy I'd met while living in Arkansas had one of these. I always thought it was a cool little boat. Hustler Model C-1350. There is a boat manufactuer in Louisiana that has reserected this boat or at least modeled their boat after it.

If you say she is heavy I would think she has some water in the core....I had a 25 mariner on her and it was Fast! ...really good riding when it's flat...but any type of swell on her nose and you will bury the bow
