Just wanted to pass along a recent feature some may have seen of a buddy who enjoys the traditional ways of waterfowling Cape Cod, MA. Mr. Jonathan Detwiler who has a spectacular collection of waterfowl artifacts, duck boats and the same diagnosis as many of us who just can't get enough season after season! Some great images here captured by @tuckerfinerty for FILSON. I plan to make a visit up to his workshop late spring / early summer to document some fascinating ways of his craft... but as these images speak for themselves Mr. Detwiler represents us all & our passions! Loving the vintage Filson attire. I have that exact same Mackinaw cruiser and shelter cloth wading jacket. Beautifully done article that really captures the heritage.

Thank you for sharing this article. A life well lived as a traditional duck hunter for sure. I couldn't help but wonder what stories those old decoys could tell if only they could talk. I'd love to know what the gun is that he's carrying.

Iver Johnson 12 gauge............ I really have no clue but just a feeling. I love the Bufflehead flatties laying on the sneak box.
