Registration - What percentage do you think

Hi Eric,

I could not even venture a guess at the number. If they feel a need to use a nickname so others will recognize them, they are missing the whole point of why this forum prefers to use real names.

People will always come and go on forums as time goes by. But there are an awful lot of people around here that have been around since That June back in 1998 and we have always felt that using our real names was the better way to go......................Happy 9th birthday Eric and thanks for all you and Steve has done to keep it going. Many of us would feel a great loss without the forum to look forward to each day. The friends that have been made and the hunts with those friends over the past 9 years are beyond placing a value on.

Dave

Dave you sir are correct. We just had our 9th birthday and I didn't even remember. Thanks so much for being here for all 9. Here's to 90 more.

Eric,

Thanks for creating this forum. Has it evolved as you first envisioned or did you foresee something different?

Dave (Parks),

I'll have you know that you are the very reason I added "Huntin" to my first name, just so the rest wouldn't get me confused with you. I certainly don't have a problem with using my real name. I also realize after being here for a few years, that if anyone get us confused it won't be my banker or gun dealer. BWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

*Disclaimer: The above to Dave Parks written "tongue-in-cheek". Where's those smiley faces when you need one. hehe.

Eric,

With all you have to do, what with your work, family (especially the kids) as well as the website, boats and now a powertool collection.........it's a wonder you are even around here much.

Nine years and still growing, congradulations on an great idea that has brought so many people of a like mind together.

Dave

50% ??? 9 years? Man! It seems like yesterday...but it also seems like it was always here. It's the first internet forum I ever posted on and I was scared to death to do it..then, 5 minutes after my first post an axe murderin baby killer from Hobart In. emailed me saying he knew exactly where I lived...he sells layout boats now and doesn't have time to sharpen his hatchet.

sorry guys
i didnt mean to ruffle any feathers or cause any dis-respect by using only my last name. obviously i just changed now using my full name. i appoligize.
thanks
colin wheeler

i don't know why this didn't post last time.

Colin, no sweat.

Lee & Hitch, pretty darn good. About half of the registrations are deleted for failure to follow the rule. Surprised me at the numbers but I guess people either don't read or don't take the rule serious.

Hank,
John is 8 years old and I remember bangin out a kara in the basement when I was supposed to be remodeling the house for the new KING. I can only guess what the next 9 years will bring. Looking forward to each one.
Darn good job Eric and Steve.

I stumbled on this site back in the "old days" when a search engine sent me here when I was researching sneak boats. I am still hanging around this disreputable crowd.
Thanks Eric and Steve for keeping her up and runnin'.
