Rivers West jackets

I've had an Eider for more than a year now. No complaints, as long as its not pouring rain hard. Its "waterproof" fleece. You can clean it and spray it with waterproof treatment to keep it going. I guide for Steelhead and wingshooting in AK and it kept me warm and dry most of the time. My arms did get wet after some long rainy days jetboating around. PVC or Gore-Tex for those days.
Cool features and pockets. I like it. I probably will get another when and if this one wears out. I recommend it.

I have had very good luck with the Rivers West jackets. No leaks yet and they are holding up well - very tough. Have had one of their jackets for 2 full seasons and wear it a lot. Just purchased an Eider jacket late in the season but no issues to date. IMO they are better than Gore-tex membrane fabric. Going to pick up one of their bibs before next season.

I've got one that's about 4 yrs old, still waterproof. I had to return a pair of leaky pants a few years ago and got the royal run around from the guys at head office. They never did return my calls. All in all good gear I think though.

I have the ambush jacket. The vent zippers are not waterproof.
So if it is raining you need to keep your arms down.
They put water proof zipper tag only on the jacket zipper not the vent zipper.
That is my big grip with the Jacket.
Also the fleece gets wet and remains wet the cuffs also stays wet.
I use the jacket as a good windproof warm all around deer hunting jacket with plus if I get caught in the rain with out my rain gear.
