Well it's really a Blast and Blast for most.
I attended this Men's ministry hunt for the second year in a row.
Lots of fun and great fellowship.

Brown Pelicans cruising for bait fish. I never could get a close enough
shot of the dolphins, but it was really cool to see and hear them about 150 yards past the decoys.
As you saw in Capt John's post, it's really dry. The Texas coastal fresh water ponds are mostly dry, causing
the birds to alter their normal habits.
So, the hunting was very slow with very few puddle ducks (except pintail) taken over the weekend.
"Rockport limits" for the group were still common, if you had the patience to hunt for 4-8 hours.

A "Rockport limit"
Too tired to hunt tomorrow.
Maybe later this week to finish the season.
