Who is coming?

I got mine! Made my reservations today at Goose Island campground. I'll be in spot # 30 for two evenings,Friday the 10th and Saturday the 11th. We have the shelter reserved for a noon meal (potluck) and social Saturday the 11th.

If you plan to camp at Goose Island, I would advise getting your plans made early!

I started a spreadsheet to keep track. I may have missed a couple of folks. This si not binding or anything, just a means to keep track.

Not 100% sure on the noon lunch hour yet. A couple of schedules need to be coordinated. It won't be far off but not sure if noon is the time yet. Stay tuned.

Put me down for Maybe. The last couple years it's my time for another back surgery but being fused and with rods I should be able to fool them (surgeons) this year.

I think you are officially planning the fun out of this event...as long as your at it, record each guys camp site number, and aproximate distance from the latrine and the picnic shelter...

I decided that I'll pass on the duck blind drawing this year. In the last 13 years I've not been picked to draw a blind stake anyway. One guy in the barrel with 500+ other hunters hoping for a draw from about 75 good blind locations....well the odds aren't on your side.

I'll be leaving my place around 5:30am on the 11th so if I can get past Cabelas without stopping I just may be able to make lunch.

Place me down as a maybe. Will be the middle of June before I have the meeting dates set with the Conservation Congress.

Shelter #2. Lunch served around noon (time to be determined). Many will be at the shelter prior to lunch to share duck boats, dekes and anything else duck related.
