Running fuel line for sneakbox

Im nearing the end of my 16 ft perrine rebuild. Found a 19;0's 16 ft perrine sailing sneak that had been sitting in a garage for over 20 years. Boat was in great shape for its age but had a terrible glass job on it which led to some rot. We ended up basiclly redoing the entire boat. We are now at the point of planking the deck and im trying to figure out how i want to run the fueline to the motor, the fuel tank will be in the stern and id rather not have the line running over the cock pit coaming to the motor but i also dont want any open hatches on the deck besides the cockpit. Im just looking for a nice clean way to run the fuel line through the deck to the motor. Any ideas?

You could use a bulkhead fitting or even make your own with a suitable plate of aluminum. Either one can be sealed to prevent water intrusion where it passes thru the deck.

I would go with a tight grommet fitting. I used a boot type on my Southbay, but really don't care for it. Don't like fittings not ready accessable either. The tight grommet is my choice...

Jay sounds like a phenomenal find, any chance you could posts some photos?
