Sanford Gunning Box Season Warmup

Took the boys back to the skeet field this afternoon with a card up my sleeve. They have been doing really well on station one and 2 and they want to know why we keep pounding on it.
Can you say incoming on the youth day?

They did great! Broke a pile of targets on the low house. The high house took a bit of adjustment but they dialed it in, then went for a double. Both broke a report pair then a true double. What a great afternoon. None of this would have been possible without the very good training both got at Camp Kehoe in VT this summer to earn their hunters safety certifications. But that is another story that has a lot of pictures to be posted when I can get to it.

Sanford boxes will tow well behind a boat on plane, so I don't see why they wouldn't tow slower. Thats how Steve designed them. Just balance the weight towards the rear and use enough rode to get them out away from the wake. We used to tow several of them in a row together at full plane with some decoys in them.
