Scaup Dodger/Blind Ideas

I am trying to come up with a good design for a blind for my new scaup, and was wondering if any of the knowledge here could help. I want a blind that the height is adjustable. I hunt tidal marshes and want to be able to adjust the height of my profile. I also will sea duck out of it and want the max height here. Here is what i had in mind: I was planning on a waxed canvas blind similar to what is available for a TDB. A post on the four corners of the cock pit the upper frame (3/4 emt or copper) that attaches to the corners will be adjustable height wise, the bottom portion of the canvas will snap to the grass rails. I don't know if anyone has tried anything like this. If so how did it work out. Anyone see any pro's or con's. Any help or pic's would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Colin Wheeler

Truth be told, I hunt with the blind low 95% of the time, but I have used it for seaducks inthe up position and it works well. The blind is 4 posts and webbing between (rather than tubing like on a TDB and the like). I like the webbing better than tubing for my applications, but in the high blind it does not work as nice.

I don't have any pictures of mine here at home, but think there are some on my work computer. will see tomorrow. I made two long U out of 1 1/2 thin square tubing with a sleeve join in the middle. On each end of the cockpit are flanges that the vertical pieces slide into. One of the "long U" upside down, is on the side of the cockpit, one is in the middle. I then have army shelter halves sewn up to stretch from the the deck up to the the middle support, then I lay fast grass matts over it all. We hunt three guys shooting over the side of the boat. This setup works well for edge of the water hunt, push the boat in the reeds and cover it up. Fair amount of room for everyone, good rain protection and shade to hid in.
