scavenger handle

I recently bought a 1436 tracker and plan to power it with a 9hp scavenger. i plan to use bimini hardware and conduit to make a grass blind with landscape netting. will the handle on the scavenger(mud motor) give me a problem with attaching the hardware on the back of the bench in my jon boat? any info on this or info on scavengers would be great.

Without seeing your blind set up its hard to say. I think you'll like the scavenger. I have a 5.5 honda that I've been happy with. The handle can get in the way of things but I like the control it gives. Mines for sale right now because it doesn't suit any of my current boats and I can't afford to have it hanging around unused. I think you'll have more of a problem trailering it. The best way is to swing the tail inboard so the blind will have to facilitate that.
