scott farris's new toy

Very Nice Scott. Do you have a dodger or spray sheild for it? Cant wait to see it in some action photos!

John, She looks great! It's been fun getting updates and having input as you build "my" new boat. I'm really looking forward to picking her up.

Thanks for the "congrats" guys but I just feel lucky that John decided to share his boat projects with us. I have fantasized about having an aluminum sneak box for years Decking over my aluminum V-hulls improved their duck hunting serviceability but they're not stealthy like a sneak box. It will be a nice addition to the fleet.

Zane, I stewed over the spray shield question for a good bit. I like the look of Dave's Bimini bows and hardware style but they look huge and I'm not real sure I need it. And if I decide I want to go that route I need to determine how much overhang works for me. So I decided to punt / delay / wait until the first season is over to decide. However I wanted the safety of the spray shield so I ordered Diane's simple spray skirt. Ask me next year after I've formed an educated opinion.

Local Southern New England guys, I am planning on bringing her to the CWA Decoy day to show off Johns work. Come on down and check her out.

Thanks all,
Scott

ps It's hot in TX, just returned from a business trip to the San Antonio area. I spent the last few days gorging on BBQ and Tex-Mex, its so GOOD!

New toy?!!! Are you crazy!!!! That looks like an essential piece of equipment and should be labeled as such.

......................You never know when a wife might be snooping around the board. All my duck hunting related equipment is important and essential. All three boats.............I think there might be room for one more next to the shop..................
