sea duck game

Hahaha, how far do you have to lead those suckers? 3 tries and 3 birds though I couldn't tell what kind they were.
 
I love it. I saw it several days ago on another site and I'm getting addicted. My highest score yet is 58. You get more points for the birds that are flying fastest and farthest away. The close shots are worth something like 2.8-3.0 points per bird. Also, if you shoot a hen then you get points deducted. I've played it so much that I hunt specific birds per game... I even started trying to get up to 25 points shooting drakes and then get my score back down to zero by shooting hens... I know, I know, I need to get back to work. :)

I hear ya, I can't even remember where I saw it but I know everyone on this site can appreciate it... some of us more than others *slumps in ebarassment*
 
I figure I'll quit playing as soon as I can get consistly shoot over 50 pts per game... This is getting out of hand.

That's a cool game. Anyone here ever really try to call sea ducks like the game? I have and it usually gets a laugh out of anyone else in the boat with me.
 
I have a friend who swears by whistling at eider when they are circling the boat, and have not quite committed. It seems to work some of the time. I think it is more of a nerve-calming thing for him though.

That game is pretty funny, but kind of accurate in terms of leading the ducks. If you're not out in front of the bird by 10 feet, you probably won't hit it!
