Once again, GREAT SHOTS ! Looks like that little Harlequin hen had her eye on you ! HA HA HA

Question for you.

Is there anyone doing Harlequin counts on the east coast? Have they made somewhat of a comeback over the past few years?

Thanks,
Steve

Seems to be saying, whooo, I think I came up in the wrong crowd!

Thanks guys.

That's actually a juvie drake harli. Not sure about recent studies. Last I knew they estimate the Atlantic population to be somewhere between 3000-5000 birds.

haha, too late, I beat you to it!! I saw your post this morning, got the idea in my head on the way home this afternoon and went straight the shop...here is what I came up with...also posted in workbench...sorry for the double post.

now work on one where the body is there but stays submerged so it can be seen through the wave.....

Thats what Bob would have done.......

Seriously I like it.....and for future reference....calling DIBS is only valid if you do it out loud.....

Is that like calling shot gun only when you can see the car??

i've never been too good at predicting the future, but that 8th picture just might be the inspiration for attempting to carve a harli this summer. great pictures all of them Capt.
