Second thing - motor related

My sunfish conversion is still taking shape. I have yet to acquire a motor yet. But in this building phase, I need to know how wide the motor board should be for a 9.9 hp motor. Thanks for anyone that has one or made one and can tell me.

Trip, One word of advice from someone who lost a motor partially due to trying to squeeze one on to a mount too narrow. Measure some motors and give yourself a bit extra width. When I get a chance to get to my storage I will measure a couple and let you know what I find. Also don't neglect a safety chain or cable. (see above).
