RM, what you describe is exactly what I do. When I am reloading once fired hulls I just take them straight from the initial crimp to the final crimp.
The biggest reason I state the OMV isn't designed for reloading once fired is because it has no station for depriming/resizing/repriming.
I have this little contraption from OMV for depriming/resizing/repriming. Similar to their presses, this thing is adjustable to do all gauges. It's about 200 bucks USD with the dies included for one gauge. Each additional gauge is about $35.
