Small Boat??

I have a boat for the big water but there are times that it would be nice to have a small boat to use on back waters. I would love to have a BBSB but just don't have the room and my second motor is a 1978 25hp 'Rude which from what I see is too big of a motor for a BBSB and parking space would be a major issue. I'm looking for something that would work for my son (10 yr old) and me but that I could still carry in the back of the truck and hang up in the garage. Maybe at times carry it in the big boat to access skinny water. I was thinking about one of the Otter boats. I have a electric motor that I could use on it.

Thoughts on options and the Otter boats (1200 or 2000)?

Carl, I'm looking at the M2. What do you know about the boats? I have never seen one in person so I am a little under informed.

My only issue with them is that they are not decked over, so they won't be so warm or concealable. Still looking for a Carstens Puddler, unless I build a kit boat.

Carstens Puddler is a great little boat. I bought one last year and used it last season. I piggy back it on my 16' flat bottom when necessary or can throw it in the back of the truck. Floats in very little water and hides like a dream. Bought mine directly thru Carstens, great bunch of people. Only problem is freight charges. Cost me $150 to have it shipped from Carstens to me in Illinois. I could have saved that by picking up myself or as I found out afterwards I could have used a company truck that was in the area a week after I had it delivered.
