Phoenix Boat Company. Not sure of the model. I looked on their website and don't see any with a motormount. Boat is made of Kevlar. This boat would be ideal for a long drag-in for marsh hunting. The boat is quite lightweight to use it for open water hunting. This is a 1-person or 1-person and a smaller dog boat. Weight is right around 35lbs I would guess. I can lift it with one hand. The nameplate on this boat is somewhat rudimentary - all information looks to be scraped on with a sharp instrument. Not sure, but that's how they must have made the nameplates back in the day. Rated for a 2hp I believe.

The hull is missing paint in a few places. Looks like the prior owner did not properly prime her. She'll work fine as-is, it's just an aesthetics thing. Has the usual nicks and dings, but not leaks.

The kevlar boats go for around $2800 on their website. I am asking $900 for this (I had posted on craigslist for 1000).

Boat is located in Port Washington, WI.

Thanks-
Paul

Paul, I have a "Sneaker" by phoenix,I dont think mine was kevlar,it does have kevlar now from my repairs,my boat also had the scribed tag on it,I will have to post some pics of mine, great little boat! Mine looks alot like yours,I wish i could afford another, for a pair,I will post some pics of mine and its mods, thanks Brian

Those Poke Boats sure are pricey...BUT nice. Have hunted from a "Maxi Poke Boat" ... great little rig. Good luck with the sale.

What a nice looking boat. Why are you selling? How durable is Kevlar to drag over dirt, rocks, sand, grass, etc...? I've been in a Kevlar canoe and it "felt" flimsy" How does this boat feel? Can you get in and out of it easily without tipping? Is it stable? Can you confirm it weighs 35 pounds and is built of Kevlar? Website says the fiberglass/nylon version weighs 90 lbs. no mention of a kevlar version.

I may be interested. Thanks for posting.

Brian - would sure love to hear your thoughts on this boat as well and any pics you have please send my way.

Thanks

Hi,

Boat is kevlar. Not sure on durability over rocks/dirt/etc. I am selling it because I have too many boats that don't see enough use. I was originally planning on using this as a layout - but the low height worried me for any wave action I may encounter. Being kevlar, it is a bit flimsier than a fiberglass model. The hull feels quite solid - the cockpit combing seems a bit flimsy. As far as tippiness - because the boat is so light, I would say it is not the stablest design. I have paddled it around, but wouldn't want to stand up in it to shoot. I don't have a scale to weigh it, but I am certain it is no more than 50 lbs, and my best estimate would be in the 35lb range. If weight is the deciding factor, I can find a way to weigh it.

Hope this helps -

Thanks!
Paul

Hi,

I would be willing to ship the boat if shipping cost was covered on your side - but would need advice on how to do it from members of this site. Not sure what shipping would cost to Oklahoma.

I will check into it. I might be able to send a Bill of Lading from my work here. The freight Company would pick it up. You would have to make some kind of crate. Checking, Rob

I am fine with building the crate/packaging. I can get scrap wood from work and 2-3 pallets for the base.

Paul, Looks like Im NOT going to be able to pull off my end of this. Thanks for Your Time. Rob
