Thanks for the compliment on (Auggie) he's 10 now still working great but as you know Pat time catches up to them.I sure hope you get the right weather to push some blues your way, I,m sure it will happen soon,all the best.

Thanks Zane, yes it's a strange year with the type of weather we are getting we have a fair amount of birds on Lake Erie but if the wind isn't,t howling I might as well stay home . This looks like the year we will be able to hunt on the big lake til the end of the season in January without being iced in on the boat ramps.All the best to you waterfowling!
 
Nice hunt John! Good to see that you and the dog are getting some divers. Despite all the reports of zero divers around, I did find one good concentration of birds. Two weekends ago we put the layout rig in the area they had been using. But like you’ve said, with zero wind and 50 degree temps we should have been fishing instead.

Good luck with the rest of your season. Hopefully the weather changes for the better before our late season. If it stays like this, I may have to chase sea ducks instead of the scaup and redhead.
 
Beautiful birds John. I hunted divers all season and never shot a bunch like that this year. It was a very strange season in Wisconsin.
