Did someone say, Peach Cobbler, Peaches and Cream, Peaches and Ice Cream, or Peach Pie? Bev and I picked a few off of the tree and then took care of them. Some time this fall or winter we'll enjoy eating them and reflect upon those ripe juicy ones that we ate off of the tree.

I was out by the orange trumpet vine this morning very early waiting for hummers to come by.

The highway to Dusty, New Mexico!

IMG_6098.jpg

That last picture reminded me of the North Western Corner of Nevada...I believe the highway is 140...I drove forever on open range wondering when I was going to see anybody..Then as I headed into the mountains of the Southwest Corner of Oregon there was snow...I love the pictures...Thanks for the memory...

Regards,

Kristan

Rob, I am glad you liked the pictures. I, enjoy life beyond your wildest imagination. Maybe luck is involved with it, however, Beverly and I do as much together as we can and one day at a time. 88 days until early teal season.

Kristan,
I'm glad one of the pictures sparked a memory. Back on Memorial Day, Bev and I were on the other end of Hwy. 52 by Truth or Consequences. We had just driven into the small village of Monticello and saw the sign to Dusty. That whole stretch was about 70 some miles and we thought that on the Kawasaki Mule it would be fun but maybe at another time. I need to put a roof on it for some sun protection first. I also found out that we have a 150 mile range with a tank full of fuel, so Some Day!

Charlie,
You said it all when you made the statement, "[font=Verdana,Arial,Helvetica]your corner of heaven." It really is.
