Chili, who is my constant companion. She is now approaching 7 1/2 years old. Boy, has she seen allot in her life time.

Last year we only received about 3 1/2 inches of rain. Two days ago we got almost 1 3/4 inches of rain. It was wonderful. The flowers will be blooming shortly. This is a desert willow blossom. I see these small trees in one area of the Rio Grande where I hunt ducks.

Bev and I love to take the pups to the lake for some training. When the temps are hovering at or above the century mark, I think the dogs like it, too!

Thanks for sharing more of you little Valle Halla down in New Mexico. After seeing your photos it would be hard to decide a season to visit in.
 
Impressive shooting....especially on the humming birds. It's not easy catching a shot of them, as they are so quick. I know; I've tried.
