Some pictures from my trip to WA

Its weird seeing Mike age quicker than the old man - I cant believe the white around his muzzle, it seems like he was just a pup. Neat pics, I hope to see some of Steve's too.

BEAUTIFUL shots Dani. Looks like you had a very successful and memorable hunt. I love the scenery, very picturesque. Some of the photos could be post cards or shotgun advertising posters. Nice job.

Looks like a great trip. Beautiful pictures capturing the turn of the season.
Just think, you still have the "wet" side of the state to explore.

OK Dani, I think it's time for you to start carrying a video camera on these trips so we can have "Outdoors with Dani" on the Outdoor channel. It would be much better than most of the stuff that's on there. Great shots as usual and it was great to see Steve. I miss his posts and his ability to make everyone think of the other side of an question. Again great shots.

Davey, I'm not going to be able to make it up there this year.

Tim, We stopped here and there and over yonder....but that's cool cuz there's some neat stuff to poke around and see. Besides, old farm machinery makes neater pictures than just laying on the ground, or in a tree (IMO).

Derek, Mike was quite bouncy, even with the grey beard...

Michael, There is so much of WA and OR that I'd love to explore...soooooooo much.

Ron, That's a very interesting idea....there'd be some GREAT bloopers with my clumsy self no doubt...

Thanks again y'all

Dani

Dani,

It was a pleasure having you visit. Kate, the kids, Aspen and I would all like you to know that you are welcome anytime. I am glad you enjoyed the rest of your trip.

I think my aquitance Steve may have short changed you on the pins. I didn't see a quail or hun pin in your hat in any of the pictures.

My best,

Don

PS, remember it's not rude if your right. :)

Wow, what a trip! That looks like a lot of fun. I have never had an opportunity to do any bird hunting like that. I love all of the pictures and seeing all of those different birds.

Its weird seeing Mike age quicker than the old man - I cant believe the white around his muzzle,...

I think they are going for the matching look.

Dani, thanks for sharing, since Steve didn't send me any pictures this time. From the looks of things, great scenery, great hunts and a couple of first class hosts!

Best
Chuck

Those photos are amazing, thank you for sharing. I really liked the Tarpon photos but these were almost breath taking

Ohhhhh I dunno Don, I don't think your aquaintance Steve shortchanged me at all. I mean he afterall did cook the quail and hun for me, and most deliciously. Sooooo perhaps I didn't get a pin, but I sure did get a most delicious meal out of it. And I got to keep the little top knots...perhaps I can figger a way to keep one together and put it on the top of my hat so I have my own top knot.

I had a great time and thank you to Madison for allowing me to sleep in her bed. I hope I can make it out that way again.

And speaking of food...Fred Slyfield also donated some moose meat to our trip. We weren't able to hunt for more than just a quick afternoon mallard shoot, but it still was fun meeting up with Fred again. That moose was DEEEEEELICIOUS. Thanks again Fred.

Thanks y'all....

Dani

That's awesome! You sure got some great pictures there Lady. I'm so glad to see a young person with her priorities all figgered out.

Thanks for taking the time to post all that.

Dani, Saw your note, sorry we didn't get to hunt more, guess it was just luck that you didn't come back up for the Friday hunt since I was out on a search Thursday until 2 am Friday then got the 3 am call about the father in laws stroke.

Anyway he passed away yesterday evening with all of us at his side, one of the best cowboys and men this state has ever seen, anyway trying to get things back in shape here after 7 days in town.

Hope you can make it up again one of these days, BTW I will be off work the whole month of Dec. consider that an invite

Fred
