Some pix from Shark Valley

Shark Valley is in the north end of the Everglades National Park. The road is a 15 mile ride through the Glades. It is only accessable by bicycle or on foot. You can pay to ride their tram but you miss so much. The view from the tower at the 7 mile mark is beautiful. There are hundreds of gators and birds along the way.

Folk around here also call the anhingas 'snake birds'. Daggonned if they don't look like snakes being charmed when all they have is their head and neck above the water.
