Sons First Black Duck

We had a lot of first today. Son's first black duck, First time in new boat, dogs first retrieve off a boat in open deep water. We had a great morning on the Delaware Bay. Mixed bag, black ducks, buffy's, merganser.

Well, he's shot one more black duck than I have in 12 years of duck hunting! Shot at the only one I've ever seen but I missed & my partner got it.
Congratulation to him, he sure looks happy.
 
Good job, you may have shot the last big duck in the HAF! Just kidding. Congrats on the days of firsts.

On another note, do ya'll still have good numbers of divers? If yes please send them south, they are late. Send some new puddle ducks as well.
 
My son killed his first Black Duck also!!!!
A little tough but not too bad....

Thank you all for your kind words. Michael was very excited to see himself on this website. He said thanks for all your comments. Someone asked about boat pictures. I will post when I get back from vacation.... 20' Xpress Jon with a 115 yamaha.. Beast of open water...
