Started the build of my Kara Robber >>>> Update project totally completed

Thank you guys for your input and help in this build. I have documented it from start to finish now in the next two pictures.

Has it lived up to my expectations???? YES in every way possible. I started this project the first day when I went back to work in Jan 07 and in that time I have had gaps in posting due to having had a major computer melt down. I finally got the pc back up and running last week. So this weekend being a long weekend and the last weekend for duck hunting for me. I spent two days catching up on work on the computer and the last day out in the Robber. I did do a maiden voyage but I did not have any success on that hunt but todays hunt it did everything I wanted it to do. I got to where I wanted to go at 5am this morning which is a two hour drive from home for me. So in the dark I loaded her up she is covered in Avery Real Grass. I have a paddle that I can break down and this was the first time I used this paddle. When I took her out the first time I had a home made paddle which wasn't too successful. Between the two bags I kneel very comfortably and just paddled in the dark down the spill way. I found it very easy to tow my hunting bags behind and I had enough room for two bags on the cockpit. So in total I had 18 Avery oversized goose floaters, three Avery black ducks, one spinner, my blind bag and shotgun.

The first picture is of the lone goose. But now the boat has been christen.

The second picture is of me heading back to my truck as it was light I could see where I was going and I found it very easy to tow behind me and when needed easy to hop back in and paddle when the water got to deep. I am talking up to my hips in height.

I will be using this more often as it has been so successful.

Thanks once again for the advice and help.

You do very nice work. That boat looks first class in every respect. Thank you for sharing your build with us. I suspect a lot of people will get fired up on building their own based on what you've shown them.
