I am unsure if you guys want to me to post a running of my process on my build. But I will do this each time I move a bit forward. And for those who want to share or give tips or advice can jump in.
This boat is being built out of red cedar (to keep the weight down). I got the timber from the shop today and then back to work and put it thru a thicknesser (first day back at work after xmas) brought it home ripped the gunnels and the second pic is soaking them for a couple of days. I got an old down pipe and blocked the end (don't have a handy pond to put them in) and have just slotted them filled it with water. As its summer here the water will get quite warm, as I have already done a test and it bend rather well.
Back to the first pic is of my garage, the first thing you will notice right in the corner is the most important thing in their. The beer fridge is quite handy lol. I have done a full scale drawing (thats the joiner in me) and have made a cockpit out of scrap timber (yeah and I have spent a few hours wasted in it already).
