The new neighbor (the dentist I told you about) that bought a 20 acre pioece on my south side needed to get a well drilling rig onto his house pad and could not make it from below, so I let them come in up on my quarry road.
When the well guy looked at the approach he said it was too steep and could not get his rig back up is he went down it. So, I got Nick to make an easier approach down with his big excavator.
We we did not have any trees in the way, but a lot of manzanita and poison oak...........ya need any?
Their new house is going to have one heck of a view!
That big excavator made short work of it.
Nick and I are looking at doubling the size of my upper pond this fall. I am also looking at the possibility of having him dig me a 12 foot deep basement under our house by the pond is we wind up keeping the 43 acre side of the property. I would like to have a secure area where I can have a large gun room with a pool table, wet bar, etc.
Let me know if you need any of this poison oak and I'll save some for you :^)
