I got out for a Photo hunt again this afternoon. After the 2 quick cold fronts this weekend and all the cold and snow up north we have ducks up the wauzoo here now. I had a wonderful time and the photos here only catch a small portion of the cool things I watched today in the marsh.

Enjoy

Great pic's Hitch. If you don't mind could you tell me what you have for camera & lens.

I just returned from Florida & spent some time with a friend on his Airboat between 520 & 50. Only saw Herons , Gulls & a few Florida Ducks.

Thanks

put your camera information on your posts in the form of a "signature"....its a question that gets asked everytime and I suspect will continue....heck I'll likely ask you the same thing in about a month, (by then you'll be posting strutting Turkey pictures), just before I order one for myself, and I've got a private e-mail from you that outlines what to get....

Thanks guys for the kind words. Yep Steve and Andy, thanks too for the help. I need it in a sig. I was using the 100-400L IS lens. If I had only one lens for shooting the birds, that would be it. But I had it on the new body yesterday - the 5D. Even without the magnification factor you get with the smaller CCD on teh 20D, if the bird is super focused, I can crop the shit out of it and it's still super sharp focus. 12.8 MPs and full frame. Makes me want a 1DS-II.

Steve, did you get the E-mail I sent?

Hitch

sent you an e-mail on it this morning....I'll get something back to you on it tomorrow....

On the camera looks like we need to talk about the camera situation since you've upgraded your inventory but not my "this is what you need letter"....I'll definately be sure to talk with you before I do anything on that....
