I was trying to take some of them artsy photos like some of y'all do!
 
These are great Carl. I often gaze at the feathers on ducks for a few minutes when I get them in hand for that exact reason.
 
I love the Pintail Carl, real nice bird. I have shot about one a year for the past four years. Absolutely my favorite birds...

Your having a hell of a season Carl. Love the Pinny pics. In 52 years of duck hunting I've yet to get a Pintail. Or a banded bird. Keep it up.
 
I'll try to keep it up! Weather looks perfect again this weekend, a front come through on Friday, so Saturday & Sunday will be cold with north winds 10-20!
 
Well, in 20 years I've only killed 3 mallards!
Just one band for me, a 10+ year old scaup back in January 1998.
