Surprised by ducks on my Florida spring break

Hi everybody,
We just pulled in to our place in Western Mich. from a Cocoa Beach vacation.
I was pleasantly surprised to see bluebills on the Indian river between Merritt and cocoa beach. Not sure what the heck they are still doing down their but to see the drakes all colored up was awesome. I even got to see some mottleds at the Pelican Island NWF area. They looked like what I would call a bright black duck. It was hard to fit my duckin in between the bikinis and boogie boards but it was worth it.

Go halfway between Pelican Island and Cocoa bch and you would be at my place in Palm Bay.

i was surprised too. i was at satellite beach and saw the same stuff .killed an osceola at bull creek wma too!
