Swan decoy floaters?

Worked! Thanks for the help!

As for the swans: I attached the neck to the wooden "spine" using a mortise and tenon type spline. It occurs to me that if one wanted to make the head and neck detachable for transport, as some have mentioned, it would be easy to leave the lower part of the neck and the top of the spine exposed above the canvas and pin the neck spline to the exposed part of the spine piece with stainless or brass rod... remove the pins and the neck and head could slip off. You'd need to waterproof the joint with epoxy or similar so the two parts didn't swell up.

Really nice.

Much more "wildlife art" type decoy than mine. My wood working skills are less than my mechanical skills (which aren't that much either) but my attempts at removable head/neck are done by using Al tubing that is a slip fit between sizes...actually designed for collapsible radio antenna systems. Works but adds weight.
