T-SHIRT UPDATE.......

I saw Pete's question and Eric's answer this a.m. and thought I'd add a bit to it......

We're REAL close to a complete shirt....the rear will be as shown, or very close, we believe to the graphic shown on the sticky...turns out this is a very complicated layout for a T-shirt printer and Eric has spent a good deal of time getting someone to do it without "dumbing it down" which we didn't want.

Eric now has the pocket art and will give that to the shirt people....we both really like the pocket art but its kind of BIG which means we MIGHT dlete the pocket in favor of a bigger front logo....I favor the pocket, as did the majority that responded, but if the frot logo looks better without it we'll go that way....

Response has been terrific with over 120 committments at this time.....that includes about (5) that we might not be able to do--(baby and little kid sizes which may not be possible due to logo size although we might be able to do those with the front logo but we won't know that for a bit yet and those 5 won't be a big issue anyway).....

What is an issue is the volume...obviously 120 shirts is GREAT but only if everyone that ordered a shirt actually steps up and completes the order when we get to that point....as we talked about one of the goals of the shirt is to fund the site...we'll be paying for the shirts UP FRONT and the last thing we need is boxes of paid for shirts laying that were asked for but never followed up on.....

If you sent me an e-mail at nuvan@comcast.net then I have your name, # of shirts and in some cases the size, saved to a file...if you didnt' follow instructions and committed on the sticky then I "might" or "might not" have you on the list....not critical right now since we know we are over a hundred, but if you want it in the file then send it to me if you haven't already...

Here's how we'll do this:

As soon as the artwork is complete Eric will post that again so that everyone can see the FINAL of both the front and rear. He'll announce at that time if there will be a pocket, or not, and if colors will be an option.

An order page, like the one for the decals, will be posted in the SUPPORT DUCKBOATS.NET tab at the top of the forum and that will explain how to order, and how to pay. The instructions will be posted so it "should be" easy to complete your order.

Shirt price is still planned to be $25.00 a shirt and actual shipping cost.

So there you go...we're close and based on what I've seen I think this is going to be one heck of neat shirt.

IF there is a pocket, do we get a free pocket protector? Hmmm? ( I can just here the groans from the NO-pocket crowd) hahahaha

Thanks Steve

as regards size....good information as shirt qulaity affects size.....

The shirt we are looking at is a HANES BEEFY T...I "believe" that is a 100% cotton T shirt of excellent wt. and quality....no poly blend, (someone correct me if I'm wrong)...based on that the shirt will shrink a bit as its washed which means if you SHOULD wear an XL but are fooling yourself that you are going to lose wt and that your "moobs" are going to shrink and would therefore be prone to ordering a LARGE to make yourself feel better then you will need to order ONE SIZE LARGER so that the strap lines from your manzeer aren't so obvious under the tightly stretched shirt....face it girls we ain't losing wt., our "moobs" aren't shrinking and our guts are getting bigger...so if you are anywhere from middle of a size range and up I'd reommend going one size larger.....

Steve

That post is worth saving.

I've been chastizing myself over my "moobs" for some time.............I feel sooooo much better now. hahaha.

I thought my suggestions were pretty good, better than " we need a baby shirt", mine............Not even worth mentioning apparently!!!

Unappreciated

just for you Jimmy....talked to Michelle about that and she recommended we just go to the medical supply place and buy "finger cotts" and then supply rubber bands so they wouldn't slip off.....

So don't worry buddy...we "gotcha covered"....

Steve

requests that have come in....if the T-shirt printer can't supply them we'll take care of those with individual special purchases.....

Steve

Can you do some of the really tight girlie shirts for wives and mistresses? I was thinking that'd be pretty hot...kinda mixing my penchant for duck hunting with my penchant for tight clothing on women.......

I didn't realize that you were talking about a replacement for a HAT.....sorry about that Michelle and I thought you were talking about a "different" head.....

Steve

printed on any shirt that you wanted to mail in...you provide the tight shirt and we'll print it......same price...

Steve

Hey, Steve...

I didn't read any of what you typed out....blah, blah, blah....t-shirt....$25 + shipping....respond....blah is about all my swiss cheese head could grasp. I live in Arkansas, what can I say...maybe you should type slower.

But, I'll take a couple...

bwaahahahahahahhahahahahahhahahahahahha.......I'm sorry...I couldn't resist. It's been the kind of day that makes me wonder why I sit at this desk.

Whatever you print them on, don't use Under-Armor shirts! I ordered 3 of their long sleeve shirts from Cabelas and they were all defective!

Not one of them made me look like the ones in the catalog, mine all came with fat beer bellies and whimpy looking arms...........so I sent them back for a refund.

Dave

if Mrs Anglin and Mrs Butler both showed up at their homes with a tight girly shirt with a duckboat painted on the back both you and I might be looking at one more member of the family and I know my house is getting full and I bet yours is too.....
but I have been wrong before.
Bob -I'll take two- Butler, and I'll for sure take one tight girly one if steve makes it.

I decided not to get any under armor for two reasons. One, if it worked I might frighten people and make them feel ashamed of themselves. Two, I like my delusions. :-)

At least it sounds like I can get a L and not an XL.
