Do any of you guys hunting out of a 14 Classic have the rain roof option and if so what are the pros and cons. How does it attach to the regular blind? any pictures would be great.
Thanks, Henry

Poor design. You leave down one side panel and sit on the floor.....How it is with my Seaclass model anyway....

I agree with Jim. it's not very useful. The top and backside is one piece of canvas. if you want to use the top, you leave the opposite side open. very narrow shooting window. might be nice for photos.

its too low and too narrow a shooting lane. I took mine off..opened up the alum railing some squared it off (not angled in anymore like factory ) added 1/4" ply all around (no more canvas)and folding 1 x 6 .grass flaps on all sides .now we sit on a swivel bucket or folding chair not on the floor and by opening up the angled railing we added room for one more man..My 17' can hunt four big guys comfy now..tried to post a pic but was too big to upload

You might ask Bob Furia to post his blind set up. He has one he made that looks very functional. He posts here often. But right now I would assume he is up to his eyeballs in football with his boys.

Good luck,

Rod

Henry.

Check your PM's. I have a setup that allows cover & rain protection, w/o having to sacrafice the ability to stand up and shoot when the time is right.
Too many pics to post, but the explanation/instructions on this setup along w/ the pictures files can be sent via e-mail.

Rod- Only things I'm up to my eyeballs in is doves, early geese, and decoy making. Youngest of the boys went off to college this fall, and I "re-retired" from fall coaching.
