TDB, Duck Water, Duck Wrangler Banks Blinds?

I have listed my Marsh Hawk duckboat, purchased last year, for sale on this site in the hopes of buying a larger boat. I really didnt want to sell, but my father (bad back, bad knees, 70 yrs old) cannot hunt out of the Marsh Hawk comfortably. A member on here suggested I build a blind similar to what is on TDB, Duck Water, Duck Wrangler & Banks boats.

If Dad could sit on a stool in the boat, he would be fine... He just cant handle sitting on the deck as sitting up and getting down aren't easy for him. So I am investigating the feasability & functionality of a blind.

Could anyone with these types of boats please post some photos showing the basic construction? I am most interested in the frame....

PVC or aluminum conduit?
Do the blinds fold down when trailering or running the boat?
How do you attach grass if the blind folds down?
Do the blinds have tops (roof) or is it typically open?
How do the blind supports attach to the boat?

Your help would be greatly appreciated. Dad took me hunting many times growing up, now it's my turn to return the favor.

Photos of my boat are shown below:

I made this one myself... 1.25" or 1.5" steel... Key Klamps, and some fabric....

Do you grass it over, or hunt it as is?
When you trailer or run the boat does it stay up as well?
What about ducks flying above you, can they see down into the boat, or do you have a top?
Thanks for your reply!

I have a top that has 3 zippered shooting holes... I have grassed it... BUT... for the last 3 years I have been using this primarily as a tender boat for layout hunting... and have been using a BBII or my TDB 14 for puddle duck hunting..

It rolls up in about 2 minutes to go down the road...

My Seaclass 14 is buried in the snow. At this rate, maybe around May I could take some pictures for you....

Pictures of the TDBs with the blinds up are at the TDB website.... www.tdbco.com you boat is closer to the "classic" than the seaclass, but it's a similar deal. 4 posts at the corners and using the KeeKlamp type fittings the posts support tubes on the sides of the boats and then the front and back panels snap in to additional fittings on the side panels.

Pics in the spring if you remind me.....

id say go with a duckwater blind type deal 4 poles and a roof pretty comfortable hunting from a stool. ease to shoot also
