Thank you Massachusetts

I finally don't feel like I have to apologize for living in Massachusetts. Who would have thought this was possible...

You guys are all welcome!!! It was nice to go to the polls knowing there was a very good chance your vote would actually be the one that came out on top. I know I'm smiling today!!!

I am pleasantly surprised.
Quite honestly, I have never understood the fascination with the Kennedy politicians.

I know there are term limits for the presidency, But is it possible for a former president to run for president again and get another eight years ? I know how much I liked it when George W, was our man ? Just thinking out loud.

Bill

Just looked again at the wording of the 22nd amendment No president shall be elected twice. So no George cant run again.

This is a perfect example of the Democratic aspect of our Representative Republic. When the freaks take over and start pushing their own agenda, the democratic vote takes over and lets them know "the people" don't agree.

Ted is dead, but now he's really gone for good. RIP Teddy!

Mixed emotions today, but I am very happy with the overall result. I voted for Scott Brown, although I don't agree with everything he stands for. He is a much better choice than Martha. There are still A LOT of liberal democrats here in Massachusetts and the fight is far from over. We cannot become complacent and let this victory be a hollow one. The fight MUST go on. Stand up for what you believe in. Don't give the liberals an edge. Just because they yell louder and are most obnoxious, does not mean they are right. Write and call your elected officials and let them know how you feel about the issues that are important to you. And, demand answers! Stand your ground, wherever you live.

“Experience hath shewn, that even under the best forms (of government) those entrusted with power have, in time, and by slow operations, perverted it into tyranny”

“All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to = remain silent.”

“A democracy is nothing more than mob rule, where fifty-one percent of the people may take away the rights of the other forty-nine.”

“The spirit of resistance to government is so valuable on certain occasions that I wish it to be always kept alive.”

All the above are attributed to Thomas Jefferson....

Obamas/Democrats tyranny lost, and the resistance to government prevailed.......but remember, the 49% will be pissed and return with a vengeance.....

...I am not sure that the Republicans are up to the task to moderate and eliminate the insanity that emanates from Washington, as they are tainted with the same elitism that comes from being in power....

Hopefully the end of the Obama Muslim agenda to destroy The United States
Now we need to get him out in 2012

Not sure that is the best thing to say. I whole heartedly disagree with Obama but his politics are more european socialism and elitist scholar based then Muslim.
