[font=Verdana,Arial,Helvetica]"I blame GW for the current state of our economy - he spent us into deficit and now Obama is upping the ante instead of reducing it. There is plenty of blame to go around on both sides. The trick is for the voting public to elect the most qualified as opposed to electing a party or alleged philosophy. And don't tell me Brown was an example of this. He seems to have won to stop Obama."
I personally do not blame GW for the state of the economy.....I blame a very basic attribute of most people,,,we want the mostest for the leastest.....greed...maximum profit....marginal revenue = marginal cost= maximum economic profit....from bankers to politicians and moving to the average Joe....we want and we want and we want more.....a bigger house then we can afford....more votes and we will buy them with tax payers money....and we want a fast profit from speculative deals.....more and more, and bigger and bigger....beside the Chinese will lend us more and own the soul of America and be happy to do it....
So do I think the American people will vote for the most qualified person? Maybe? Who promised the biggest slice of the pie, will they win?
Am I cynical? Jaded? Tired of the poop? Disgusted? maybe a bit of each?
Do I think Obama is out of control and needs to be stopped? YES!! But is Brown the most qualified? A qualified politician?
Come on give me a break...let us as the American public face it,,, the rats are running the rat maze..........we have not the guts, or will power, nor maybe even not the ability to stop and reform the system.....We each feed upon the tit of the Federal government in some form...jobs....programs...welfare....and so forth.....we will not allow the system to stop feeding us....we are greedy unto a fault that may be our own demise.....
Yes I am a cynical old bastard...
