Thank you Steven J Sanford...

I'm sure it was mentioned somewhere here, but the starter of this thread Jon passed in the last year. We kept in touch about projects and life happenings. I know I sure miss his interactions. He was one of the good ones!

And I echo his sentiments about Mr. Sanford. A wealth of knowledge we are all happy to benefit from.

Yup I saw that Jon had started this thread and it made me smile because I also loved seeing his avatar picture.

I too am happy that Steve is around. I frequently find his builds fascinating (even when I haven't a clue what he and others are talking about) and his craftsman ship something to aspire to.

I too have not been around too long oh this great website, yet it has not taken me very long to realize Steven J Sanford has obtained a level of skill and knowledge very few people obtain! I have never met Him in person, yet I know He is a gentleman, thru and thru, by reading his posts. Thank -you Steven for so willingly sharing your knowledge. You certainly have taught me many things in the short time I have been on this website. I look forward to your future posts !!

I bought a beat up rugged 50 year old duck boat based on Steve's renovation of a similar hull. I wouldn't have considered it if I did have his engineered renovation to follow. He has helped me with information above and beyond.
