Steve, I agree with you cam-cleats are under utilized. I have 4 in my Bankes for quickly release on temporary anchor lines. This picture shows them inside the port and starboard gunwales. But I would also suggest that my Dave Clark decoys bags may have been the best addition to my duck boat.

.Having everything so that it keeps where it belongs is nice. I put in these retainers a few years back and I've been really happy with how it keeps the anchor boxes in place.
I'm a big fan of my mini console as well. I end up using the GPS and depth finder quite a lot and having them in a good location in a low profile boat is hard - the console does that well. Decoy anchors are also locked in nice too.
