I decided to go to a place I could walk-in for an afternoon hunt. It's about a mile so I grabbed the deer sled and threw a dozen decoys, gun, ground blind and started walking. The geese were on the move yesterday but I never fired a shot! This is what I found on the PRIVATE side of the dike that I don't have permission to hunt. Sure is hard to get birds to decoy when the neighborhood is full of live decoys.

Hope you southern boys have a good season. I finshed putting the waterfowl gear away. Hope to get a chance to chase ditch chickens one more time. But my season is coming to a close quickly.
