I worked at our state's waterfowl hatchery years ago and if memory serves, that little ball of yellow fluff will turn out all white. That doesn't mean it's an albino, just a white mallard...........

Mr. RA,
It's not nice to slander the Mrs, it as likely or maybe more so that another hen left that egg in the nest while the Mrs was out on a date with her favorite stud. Kind of wish we could have done that with our girls (be nice to have someone cover the cost and work involved).
