mostly noted for his dog paintings, larry was a fine man and very talented artist.im glad our booths were across from one another at the wildlife art show in decatur, a while back.i spent a good bit of time talking with him and his wife.our family has been friends for many years and its a shock to us all that something can happen so quick.send a prayer up or two for his family as they also lost a daughter to a car vs deer wreck about a year ago.

Didn't he just win the Al. Duck Stamp print a couple of weeks ago? I am almost certain that it was him.

Thanks for posting that. Otherwise I never would have known. I spoke to him at the show and he was very nice, even when my boys started getting their grubby paws on his work. 55 is way too young. My condolences to his family.
