Jim,I think for Hitch to get any Wood Ducks. He's going to have to put tape on the eyes. I've had decoys like that. I'm sure they warn the other ducks. Woodrow isn't just a ordinary decoy he's special.
 
Okay this is just too much for me.....now you guys are talking about blindfolding the deke! Is this so he doesn't see the execution of his friends? or maybe woodrow is the only one seeing any shot action.....meaning he is tired of the extra holes???? Bet if you asked woodrow if he had the choice of my bath or ya'll blindfolding him he would choose my bath. Maybe I will sneak down and nab the poor fellow and bring him home to my place......

actually epsom salt resistant.....Calgon has too many "other" chems in it that are not in my best interest so I keep things simple.

Aye!!!!!!! to the 10th power.....I whole heartedly happen to agree with everything but the bubbles, again chem reaction issues for the lady with the bubbles these days. You send it, I will post pics.
 
Well if Dani comes down to hunt next weekend, I'll send it home with her if ya'll can get it to Dave quick.

Hitch...that's alright, Dave can send it to us after the season and we'll give him the spa treatment! He'll feel like a brand new deke!

Hey Kyle... Tizmo will be here Friday night late for 4 days of hunting. For all of you who don't know; I've known Tim (Tizmo) since I was 9 years old when we both grew up in Iowa. Tim still resides in Marion, so an Iowan will be hunting over Woodrow while he's in Florida. We still hunt together now and again. Were gonna hit the woody spot in the marsh first, and maybe try an old Woody spot I haven't been to in years.

BTW Kyle, I'm still planning a mission to MO/IA next season. I know I keep saying it, but this year I'm motivated to make it happen... I'll bring the Tank to test it in the slough mud, maybe bust some ice at Noduk with it, and I want to see how far back in the millet at Red Rock she'll go. I hope they're still planting the millet there. Maybe Dani will come with, or fly up and meet us for a few days :) She still hasn't killed real orange legged Northern Mallards yet.

No need to show up and take photos... the blue-eyed goof teal will be there with on-board DV hardrive and the blue eyed cams. I'm sure they'll float the pair together, and maybe the longtailed Squaw will join the party as well ;-)

Hopefully we'll get some rain this year otherwise launching a boat at noduk will be impossible. Water is still down at least a foot. Can't wait to see the battleship.

Well Woodrow didn't arrive until yesterday when I got back from the morning hunt, so he'll have to wait till Saturday for his first ride on Hitchcraft 1. We did have a few Woodys fly through early. I wonder what they would have done if Woodrow was in the water?
