Today, Pepper's litter of yellows is 2 weeks old. Salsa's litter is just 14 hours older. In my office you might say there is never a dull moment! Chip is sleeping under my desk.

Al if you added they also know everything to "they sleep alot and eat alot" you would be talking about my kids instead of the pups,,,great looking litter,,,,,,Chuck
 
Them is some sweet looking puppies. I showed Vickie that last photo and said Lucy needs a companion. I got the look but I didn't get a NO...LOL

Thanks, Doug. As for the teal season, it was much better than I expected. How did I know that we would have toooo much water down here and that the teal were spread all over the place? The good news is that I found them and had what I thought was a very good season. Doug, if you saw this, would you think that your season was great?

That was a good one, Ed. Puppies have a way of doing things like that. In the past year we have had 4 couples come down here to look at pups and by the time they left, had made the decision to take not one but two pups.

I would have a hard time parting with them. I guess it's a good thing I'm not raising puppies.

Hey Tom,
It has been several years ago, but on one particular litter of pups that we had, Bev found this chocolate male that she absolutely adored. When the owners came to get it, I did notice a tear in her eye. Yes, it is extremely difficult to watch them go.

Thanks, Paul. I can still remember that day last week when I tossed that bird for him. I have to admit that I sure was proud of him for what he did.

Bev and I know what you mean, Phil. Every time we watch a litter leave, we go through withdrawals. That need for a pup is pretty strong. By the way, now that their eyes are open the old "wanting game" is worse than ever.
