Congratulations on a good hunt and fine looking rig. Black & White decoys are all ya really need to toll any kind of duck. The specific pretty ones we all make are to please our selves, and other folks, not the ducks. We like to challenge ourselves with our creations.

You never know what birds will show up. Especially in open water, no matter where you are, in any flyway.

Flyways are scientific terms that try to relegate birds to certain areas. Nature takes it's own ways.
