Went out this morning because it was supposed to be windy, and wouldn't you know it, crystal clear and calm. A lone goose fell victim to the big river flute. He passed overhead, I hit him with a few clucks and he made one bank, dropped elevation and hoovered right over the decoys feet down. It was absolutely perfect. Also caught a buffie spying on the decoys. Other than that, it was a pretty peaceful morning.
...by the way, Xena is 85lbs. just to show how much of a tank this goose was...
