Looking to get a tiller extension for my sneak box anybody use any that work well ?

I picked up an extendable one from the factory seconds page. I believe it is an 18-24" model. I have been pleased with it. Although it puts me further from the F-N-R control on the engine. It works well when under power. I suggest pulling off the rubber grip and adding some good strong grip glue used for bicycle or motorcycle handle bar grips to keep it from slipping on you.

Bought one at Cabelas for my 9.5 Evinrude on my sneakbox...works great....tough to get on good...even tougher to get off once mounted (just left it on)

I would NOT recommend the Helsmate tiller extensions from Iron Wood Pacific suggested above. When I got my duckboat I purchased one of these and they have a serious flaw. While the shaft is aluminum, the part that goes over your outboard tiller is made out of plastic and only attached to the extension shaft with one screw. When turning using the Helsmate, all of the stress is put squarely on the plastic where your outboard tiller ends. Mine ended up bending while running the boat and almost caused me lose control.
I went out and purchased a section of white PVC pipe and cut it to the length I desired. 6 inches from the end I drilled a hole through the pipe, then cut the pipe in half to that hole (it kept it from splitting more). That end slides on my existing tiller shaft and I used two pipe clamps to hold it on...... works great. I finished it all off by painting the PVC.

Bought one from cabela's it can be used as a straight stick or with the click of a button it turns into an extension with a knuckle that allows you to turn your motor without having to push the extension way past the gunnels.

On my old (1978?) 9.9 Johnson I had the old OMC adapter handle (cast aluminum) with the extension. I have a new Cabela's on my "new" (1999) Johnson 9.9 but have not put it through a season yet.
Under gunning conditions, a round handle can slip. I flattened mine in a vise, then wrapped it with tarred nylon. I inserted a carved wooden knob to avoid any rough surface. It worked great for 15 years or so.
