Great time was had. Hope everyone has a safe and happy New Year. Jim

Looks pretty cool. All the years I lived in Arkansas I never made it far enough east to hunt standing timber. Hunted flooded timber on Stockton Lake in Missouri but that was from a kayak since the water's to deep to stand. Still it's a total different hunting when you get a flock of ducks manuvering the trees as your trying to pick one to shot at. Can get exciting in a heart beat for sure.

Take care,

Ed L.

Jim,
What part of AR were you in? Was it public or private land? I have a club out near Jonesboror and since season is so slow in Alabama I probably will be finishing the season out there. I am going to hunt some timber holes on the Cache River refuge and was just wondering if maybe you were near that area and hoping to find out if the birds are using the timber like I suspect they are. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

Jim,
Nice pics. I see you live on St. Simons Island. I lived in Milledgeville until I moved to South Dakota about 13 years ago. Do you ever duck hunt on the coast?

Jim, You have just made one of my dream hunts. Still owe 3 years to the "man" and will be hitting the road. BTW I spent a little over three years at NAS Gylnco in the early 70's and worked off base for Wilbur's Honda. Kinda got me jump started to a teaching career in motorcycle and marine mechanics. Good luck and thanks for the pictures
